New hitec 7950TH

What plane you have for it? I would wait for the hitec, but if you like replacing gears get that new 8711HV

My 3DHS 103" Extra 330SC.

Ben has about 40 flights in it and no slop just yet. Sounds pretty good (other than the steep price ).

Here is the deal with 7950TG versus the TH. I believe the TG was the first generation of this servo which was never released. They scrapped it and went right to the 7950TH which is the same but with the high voltage capacity. I do not believe the TG version is going to be released.

If this is incorrect, someone please correct me.

Josh why would you pay so much for the servo if you've been having such good success with the 7955s on 7.4 which don't develop gear slop?

Because one of them is not doing the job for the ailerons on my 103" SC.

It seems the 7950tg is a rebadged 7955 rated at 7.4 volts and the 7950th is totally different, the 7950th's are in transit to all who will carry them(should be there by friday), thats what HITEC told my local hobby shop today. So we will see!

CHIEF always says they have stuff in stock(but they dont) when you go to order something they say they have' it promps you if want to cancel your order if its not in. I know, I ordered some stuff they said they had, and all my orders got cancelled. So good luck with that!

they shipped us at Chief a bunch of the 7950's to us YESTERDAY ........ with many more on the way also .. Chief should have them by Friday , or Monday at the latest ..

While I've generally had really good experiences when dealing with Chief, bless Dana's little heart, they do tend to post especially new stuff as being in stock when it's not yet on the shelves.....

I would love to get some of these servos and the price seems pretty good too. I'll have to wait for the reviews and the long term real world tests for me to jump in though. There is just too much on the line with a servo to jump in without knowing how they will react on their 100th flight. They sound like they should be awesome servos and if they are anything like their other titanium servos they should be awesome.

Just ordered them from Chief. They only have 3 left when I ordered, and are going to get another shipiment early next week .

Chief has the worst customer service I ever experienced. When I sent them some wings back because I got them damaged they said they will send me brand new ones back and sent me the same ones with CA all over them. When I brought that to their attention they threw an absolute fit and threatened they will charge my card again if I don't sent them back .

As far as my servos I get them all from TBM. They have very good prices even on the new ones and so far I never had any problems with them. Don't buy their servo screws though

I have two on the way from chief, I like TBM too, but their shipping cost is ridiculous sometimes
