Default Saito 125 problem

i have a saito 125 for 2 years now but not frequently used. it worked perfectly but now when i start it after 2 minutes of flight a strange noise appears .. any ideas?

have you adjusted your valve rocker clearance?
this needs to be done occasionally.

It is probably the bearings going bad. That is not uncommon for Saitos. They can be purchased from Boca and are pretty easy to change.

Bearing,, I had a .82 Saito that did the same thing,, I kept flying it until it turnt loose, then sent it in,, it was still under warranty,

I agree with the others, could be a bearing...but the saito 125 is also known for poor lubrication to the cam gear. That thing will scream intermittently (and sound like a bad bearing). Horizon told me that if the plane isn't stored in a "nose down" position (so residual oil can run to the cam) that I should manually lubricate the cam gear "frequently"...whatever that means.

Just a thought.
