Default Airwild SU-29?

So, how is this plane working out? Can anyone give flight reports, how is coupling and such. I am considering this plane right now, but can't seem to find much about it.

i've got one and i have yet to fly it. i built it in just a week or so before making the trek down to the atl HF last oct. the weather wasn't condusive to a maiden and i came home to snow so she hasn't seen sky yet! the kit was fairly decent and the hardware was terrific (what can i say, airwild DOES hardware!)

there's gonna be some coupling due to the Low wing design, but it should be easily mixed out. this plane is big! it is a fat pig! a great looking fat pig! i am continuously amazed at how wide and bulky the fuse is and the wing loading is still so verylight! this will be a GREAT freestyle plane! as soon as i get her in the air i'll post more pics/video!

try one, their fairly priced and they look terrific! massive, just massive! i have mine sitting in the shop next to my 42% leseberg dalton and a H9 46% ulty and the sukhoi is by far the most massive of the three!

I have one too , as i got a smokin deal on one from a guy that had to sell it.....his wife wouldn't let him keep it! And SMOKIN' is right.....it's a huge friggin , fat aircraft. I won't be able to put it together until next year as i have to many other airplanes waiting for motors and so forth. I'm planning on going with a DA-170 ( at this time anyways) on MTW cans or some type of tuned pipes. There isn't to many of these birds out there , but the few that i have read about , said they flew extremely well!

You have to see one to believe it.....you could almost stick a 37.5% SD yak airframe inside this sucker....it's that big!

big is right! i'm glad somebody echoed my opinion of the size! i didn't want to seem as i've exaggerated! i am powering mine with a 3W 157CS on reg muffs and i'm not worried about the power at all. i have 7955's all around and a smart fly powersystem. the all up (no gas) weight of this plane is just a couple ounces over 40lbs. this seemed heavy to me but there wasn't really any way of keeping any other weight out of her. with this amazing wing loading though, i don't think she'll fly heavy at all! it should be like a foamy up there!

check out the video on the airwild website of the szueber (spelling?) boys flyin' her and you'll get even more excited!!!! good luck and happy flying!

I have seen couple of videos. They all seem to be in lots of wind though, makes it harder to see how stable and how precise it flies. Or is that makes it easier? I guess it doesn't matter if the plane flies straight or not, cause I know I sure can't!

Maybe just bad lighting? Sometimes doesn't look so bad.

nah, i think it is a really attractive plane. now, i will admit that i like it more and more every time i look at it and it would certainly be acceptalbe to call it an acquired taste... with that being said, i love the fact that it is certainly not the cookie cutter arf that we see sooooo many of every day at the field. this one is atleast origional and a bit different!

hello, my name is matt mikesh and i like the SU-29!!!!!!!! LOL
