I use both Gorilla glue and the Elmers version(Probond I think, I dont have any right now). I have found that Gorilla glue expands about twice as much as the Elmers so I use them in different applications. Both are excellent IMO. Both require consistant and frequent monitoring for about 30 minutes to keep cleaning off the expansion glue with a wet paper towel or rag.(specifically if your using it on hinges) I would highly recommend that you test glue scraps together so that you understand the amount of expansion. Its easy to over do it with gorilla glue.
I am sure there are many other really good suggestions from people out there. Good Luck V

Rob, do you still find that to be true even with the Ultimate that says "new faster formula" on the bottle? I am having a hard time finding the Elmers brand locally and was going to use the hairy ape formula.

Don't forget to glue the 3/4"wide 3/32 rail for the turtle to glue to.It gives the turtle more surface to attach to. Rob

Thanks Sukhoi 26
I have not glued it on yet I am waiting for the phenloics to dry. So you glue the phenolic and the sheeting on at the same time. I might try that. Thanks for all the replys so far. Tim |
