Either cans or mufflers not sure yet.

I have the sheeting done for the turtle deck and the bottom of the fuse sheeted per plans. I am gonig to install the phenolics tomorrow hopefully, it is coming along.

Any tips on using Gorilla glue I have always us epoxy.

I use both Gorilla glue and the Elmers version(Probond I think, I dont have any right now). I have found that Gorilla glue expands about twice as much as the Elmers so I use them in different applications. Both are excellent IMO. Both require consistant and frequent monitoring for about 30 minutes to keep cleaning off the expansion glue with a wet paper towel or rag.(specifically if your using it on hinges) I would highly recommend that you test glue scraps together so that you understand the amount of expansion. Its easy to over do it with gorilla glue.

I am sure there are many other really good suggestions from people out there.

Good Luck

I personally don't use the Gorilla glue for sheeting the wings or gluing in the phenolic tube because it kicks to fast and doesn't give you the time, but I do use the Elmer's ultimate glue which is still a polyurethane glue but gives you more time to work with, plus it's not as expensive. Anyway, polyurethane glue is the way to go cause it fills in all the voids that epoxy doesn't. Rob

Rob, do you still find that to be true even with the Ultimate that says "new faster formula" on the bottle? I am having a hard time finding the Elmers brand locally and was going to use the hairy ape formula.

Yes, It's not nearly as fast as the gorilla glue and you still have time to sheet the bottom ,glue in the phenolic then glue the top sheet and throw all the weight on top. That's exactly how I do it and have never had a problem.
Have you tried Home depot and Lowes. I buy mine from a guy up north and get a great deal on it. I have an order in for more if you need some let me know. I can get it for you. Rob

Don't forget to glue the 3/4"wide 3/32 rail for the turtle to glue to.It gives the turtle more surface to attach to. Rob

Thanks Sukhoi 26

I have not glued it on yet I am waiting for the phenloics to dry. So you glue the phenolic and the sheeting on at the same time. I might try that.

Thanks for all the replys so far.
