Very Cool! Looks Awesome!
What kind of servo leads do you guys run in these monsters, they must be about 8' long MPI has some real 20awg ext's up to 4' but doesn't sell the wire in bulk. The wires are .070" 100 strands @ .004". Be interesting to see the what kind of loss there is on such long ext's. The bigger the better, right !

Any ideas?

P.S. Big thanks goes out to Affordable Welding in Fall River for staying open a bit late to weld up the headers so they would fit.
Jim. thanks for all the help, I owe you and the rest of the gang a big one, somehow we got to figure a way to start that motor, as of now it's not me cause I can't reach that high, I wonder who's 6 Feet tall to do the flipping .

Lomchevac, no problem at all, my rates are fair, slaping them around may cost a little more than giving orders.

I am using heavy duty servo wires, to make the long leads, I start with a 48 inch extension, cut it and solder the length needed for each One, they all eventually make it to the Powerbox.

Damn... that thing is big. Hey Snappy, if noise is the main issue, 3W does make a specific 3 blade for the 342.. might help quiet it down.

I couldn't flip it! I'm too short... the electric starter might be a good idea!

It really is amazing the see the difference between a 40% and 60%... wow.

Thanks for the Pics... I'm in Belgium for another week and can't wait to get back in my shop!

Elie,
Plane looks great. I will start on our stuff this week. It has taken me 2 weeks to get all our stuff ordered. It is not easy ordering 90 - 9157 servos and arms, 300 feet of servo wire, prolinks, 10 - receivers, 5 - royale power boxes and the list goes on. I am having trouble finding the sullivan 7 inch tires and the 10 -32 hardware. I may have to use 6 inch tires and make my own hardware. If you know where I can get some, let me know. I am still working on finding the 7 inch spinners. I did talk to my friend rick at tru-turn and he said he would make them if you guy's want to spend the money. It may be our only choice. Call me and we can talk about the prop selections and the way you mounted the engine. The rubber gromments may not be the best way to mount the engine. Just call me when you have time to talk
John

Better hurry John, April is getting closer. Better tell that pit biotch Jared to get on the ball and help you get these things together.
