I am working on programing the plane now and being extra careful and taking my time, I am also waiting for the prop. Tikka, you are welcome at any Huckfest and if you ever make the One in CT, you're welcome to stay at my house, just let me know, I must warn you though, Huckfests are addictive.
Hi Elie.

I will come to the Huckfest in CT, when is it this year? Maybe I can make it. It is really nice of you to invite me to stay at your house, and I accept the invitation. I think it will be a blast. One cracy norwegian visiting the US and A. Looking forward to it.

Eli is it true if you get a flat on your trailer, you can use the tire off your plane for a spare?

I use these props on our UAV's at work, they do well but I have never used one on a 3D plane before.

Stang, it's big enough but no way they are too expensive, the spare is much cheaper.

Tikka,
I would like to see some pictures of the 200 inch Ultimate you are building. What do you think the weight will be and will it have flying wires on the main wings? If you need a 684, I have another brand new one with the y pipes and cans I would sell you at a real good price. (I also have some 342's left if anybody is interested) Our Ultimate is a weimo kit but I am not using his wings or stabs. I am going to make my own because I can make them alot lighter. Also I am going to do the main wings so they don't need flying wires. My weight will be 100lbs or less. I want to make sure it is legal to fly at our events.
Thanks,
John Light

Richard, no problem, I need that prop, I am not sure if it will be the break in prop, I have a feeling it will be the after break in prop, we will find out, please let me know when you get it.

I don't have any pictures yet, most of the wood for the airframe has been cut, and my main issue is GLUE. But I'm close to decide on what glue to use. The wing ribs are lacercut, and will be built like the fullsize Ultimate's wings. Flying wires is not an issue I have thought too much about, but I was planning on using it. My goal of weight is 132 lbs, ready to fly. Many builders in Norway and England, think I will end up with a weight, twice as much as that. They say it MUST be that heavy, or it will fall apart during flight. Well, we'll see. Planning on using 2 Seikos pr wing half, 2 Seikos for the rudder, and 8 400oz/in servos on the elevators. I was planning on using a 3W 520cc 4 syl engine, but will not decide before I know a little more about the weight. But I'll keep you updated, and maybe start a build thread here at FG.

Back to you, Elie
