Snap Man, this is a mammoth of a plane, you surely would need Air clearance before every flight and i believe by now the only option would be an A123 powerplant and a new SNAP-A-Trailer for sure
The fuselage could be used for kiaking as well :-)

Mike, I measured the fuse with no spinner at 155 and the wingspan at over 180 inches.

jeeze, thats more than 3 ft in prop! i'm only 5' 8. i dont know how i'd every flip one of those over by hand

I am 5'9" and I will have to reach high to flip the prop and may need a stool, I am not joking

In a previous post, you wrote that you will use 5 servos for the rudder, installed for push-pull. That does not add up for me, unless you can install them inside the fuse, in a row. Could you explain how the model is built, regarding the rudder servo set up? I plan on using a Seiko in mine, guess it will be strong enough. Any reason for why you don't go with the Seiko solution?
