Our boy Josh already has our golf cart and motorhome on rent. Good to have such a friend.

We gonna even get their earlier this year can't wait.

Try to send registration forms today but mail man thinks its a holiday. Doesn't he know that the NALL is coming up and there are important documents that need to be delivered!!!!

Snap, What difference does it make where the road goes? Get there a week early and I am sure you will find the way to lower flight line! I am planning on arriving on Saturday again and spending the whole week.

see you saturday night chane!!! we're leaving around 4am saturday morn and it's about a 17 or so hour drive if all goes well! It's gettin' closer!

I hope they have cut down a few of those trees in the middle at the 3d flight line!!

Really cool that one of the premier airplane events in the country (if not THE premier event) now appears to be open to heli pilots as well. I've always throught the Nall would be fun to attend just from an observer perspective (I don't own any airplanes.), but now that I might be able to attend as an actual pilot it's just icing on the cake.

One question though. Is there some sort of obstruction that would prevent a heli pilot from flying more than 200' out from the pilot station? Something like a line of trees?

Do any of you stay at the hotels in the area or is it just a given that everyone camps on-site?

A lot more planes crashed in the lake than hit the trees. Maybe we should fill in the lake instead of cutting the trees. LOL.

There are plenty of nice Hotels and Motels within 30 minutes of the field, I would think more people actually stay in rooms than at the field, all though there are a ton of campers and tents at the field.

Camping on the grounds RULES.
Nothing like hanging out watching the night flyers with a cold one in hand.
Or jamming out to the Karioki (sp?) singers. hahah!

if you don't stay at triple tree, you miss out on 1/2 the nall experience!!!!! DO IT!

I do not know the answer about flying. Hotels are about 20 to 25 miles from the field. If you go to our website there are some listed there. I am sure one of the guys on here can tell you about the flying if not please email joenallmasters@bellsouth.net with any questions.

We do have 2 first class bath houses if you chose to stay on site.
