First of all it is Joe Nall and you could never be there to early. Second a coupld more days hangin with some of the best guys in the sport! What more is there to say.

with the 3d flightline just starting up last year, and the popularity of it growing all week last year, it will be full by tuesday this year! just man up an follow us down, we go thru cincy!!!!!!!!!!!

we will be there on saturday. we stay sat-sat. camping/flying/resting/flying/flying.... its my yearly vac! we get a few of the guys together and we go down and enjoy a week away from work/and the wife and the stresses of the day to day and have a great week of vac doing what we love to do -- flying with our 2nd family ( all the rc pilots that are at the joe nall).

Just think about it, Saturday thru Tuesday is all open flying and you never have to wait in line to fly.
So we go early, fly all we want and get to sit back and relax the rest of the time. Best vacation we have ever had.

Hey guys... most of you guys will be flying airplanes at the Nall, and a few of you both planes and helicopters, if so none of the following applies to you. It's business as usual at the Nall.

BUT... if your a guy who is ONLY going to fly Helicopters and you are NOT a member of the IMAA please read.

The following question was asked: "What if you are a pilot that is going to fly Helicopter ONLY, do you need to have an IMAA membership?"

I spoke to the guys at Triple Tree this afternoon, and they spoke to the IMAA.
Joe Nall has always been an IMAA event (for many, many years), and since the Helicopter flight line is very new to them, they had to think what to do.

What they have come up with is the following:
If you are a Helicopter pilot ONLY and plan to fly at the CR Helicopter flight line at the Joe Nall, a IMAA "Event membership" is all that will be required. (Besides the normal pilot fee's and AMA membership)

Now the really good part: This IMAA event membership for the Joe Nall is only $5. (for the length of the event)

This money helps support an organization that supports the RC community.
I think this is a nice solution.

Also.. I'd like to thank all parties involved, it was really nice of them to get back with me so quickly!

NOW.... for something FUN!

In honor of our friend that lives in the land of ice, I'd like to announce the Wesse flying Japaleno' contest at the Joe Nall!

I would like to see what you guys can do to make a flying Japaleno!!

Make a FOAM Japaleno.... make a 118" composite Japaleno I don't care... as long as it flies!

We will get all the flying Japaleno's together on the flightline, and get crowd response.. so do your best!!!!

Who's bringing the HEAT?!?!

I'll post what the prize is before the event! Trust me, it will be HOT!

Official rules:

1) Must be home made.. no mass produced Japaleno's

2) Must actually fly (30 seconds minimum)

3) Must meet any/all AMA regulations

(I want to see something more Japaleno looking than this!!! *see pic*)
