Super BadA$$.....just ugly from some hanger rash, I havent fixed yet. Ive got it dailed and figured out, I just want to change to a 30x12-30x13 prop cause the 32x10 make the plane torque roll bad in a hover, full aileron deflection wont hold it. And I suck at torque rolling, I can anti torque roll to the right all day long, but rolling left on anything screws me up, and yes I really do try....lol

I hear that, I got the hang of torque rolling, but it is hard to find the sweet spot for the throttle. My plane starts pull out. But with my dalton I bet it will rocket out of a torque roll with the mtw pipes

Heck, its not time, its space! Until we get rid of the car in our garage we don't have space anywhere that I can sit a 40% fuse and work on it to build new battery and receiver mounts.

I need Jack to get moved into his new place so that I can borrow some space to work on it some more but I don't think that's going to happen in time for the big bird... I may have to get creative in order to get it done in time.

Jr 1221 RX
Dual Fromeco 2600's
Dual badger switch's
Dual fromeco d-cup's
into a 42% 8/16 bluebox

running 8 7955 unregulated.

I talked to Mike at fromeco, because I was doing testing on there d-cup. I it handles 7.4 volts just find. But i am getting a lost of voltage in my system because the voltages down to 3.4 or less volts after mixing the sticks a while.

Mike at fromeco is told be to check to make sure the batteries are not getting hot,

unplug the d-cups and try to generate the voltage drop again

unplug one servo at a time to find a servo that is binding.

also he suggested to use a voltmeter to test check the voltage on the bus.

One thing that is for sure is that the Fromeco d-cup DO NOT quit. The board just gets warm

I hope I find how what the problem is. Mike and Kurt are helping me out

I'll check that, do you think the amps on the 48' extensions I have on the elevators may be causing it?

Hey it looks great ! I will jump in my lear and come down to see ya LOL . For the tests hang some weight on the surfaces to sim flight loads that may help some things show up . I use my lead tube socks that I use to weight things down . They will not mar the covering . Pick up some lead shot at the sporting goods store and make up little bags you could use glad bags and role up to lay out the load you want . Let us know how it turns out . Gordo

Thanks man.

Well My friend Rick, completed some testing on my system last night. What I found out is that with both dc-ups plugged int the bus the reciever cut out, but the dc-up never quit they just got hot.
When I unpluggd the dc-ups from my bus the reciever remained connected and everything was fine. A voltmeter was connected to the bus. On thus test it read 7.76 volts and only dropped to 7.5 when the stick were moved. Then the voltage would climb as high as 7.9 or some when the sticks were released. Mike at fromeco said there may be something wrong with one of the dc-ups.

I am having my friend plug in one dc-up at a time to test them. I'll post my results.

Gordo what is the best way to make the hole for the servo leads to go through? I had trouble with it on this Dalton. I got into the top sheeting of the wing. Is there again way to fix that. Basicly is the wing hurt structurely?
