Default Very Noob

Considering going to the AMPS IMAC this week to compete. However, I am very new to the idea of precision flying. I can do all of the maneuvers, but they just aren't real pretty.

Do ya all think I would benefit from going to compete to use it as a learning tool? Don't expect to do any better than last place, but thinking it would be useful just to learn more technique and how to kind of stuff.
