Chip Hyde Yak
Hey guys does anyone know the skinny on the Chip Hyde Yak?I just got off his website and can not find any info on it anymore.Does he still plan on selling the plane or did he take it off cause they are all sold out?

I don't think he ever went to production with them. All I have seen were the prototype pics a while back and an article were the prototype was flown in a demo outside USA borders, and I think it was converted to electric.
Anyone have better info on this? curious minds want to know

Hans, Throttlestick.
He had it down here in Chile a few weeks back and yes it is electric. It flies like a feather and with those big tapered ailerons it rolls like an electric drill. He told me they were due in a few weeks so that could still make them on the water. From what he told me they are definitely going to be released. I guess we just need to sit tight and see. Kiwi |

Kiwi thanks.I have seenthe pictures from down there a couple of times.Maybe he is just updating the site or something.I went there today and noticed that they are not listed anymore and was just wondering what gives?
I guess it is just like you said we will have to wait and see!
