John, it will be good to meet you too! See you guys there!

I don't think RJ's 21 yet, I think he's closer to my age

I will have you know that I have 87 flights on that foamy, with only 1 small mishap which was a long time ago. I sold the Extra 260 after 65 flights, and NO crashes. I flew it that low over dirt too.

Yeah, I was at Molalla, and yes, I am hoping to fly freestyle this year. I don't know if Grant will give me an "invite" yet... We'll see. Did you see the video of my freestyle on the sim that is on my media page? If I can get in, I'll be flying that routine. What is your name? I might have seen you last year. ???

Thanks guys!

John, I'll give you a call tomorow night. :-)

My name is Ben I did meet you there you were with your brothers I think. If you want to fly freestyle in Molalla your best chance is to do well in IMAC. Most likely Intermediate. Sportsman class winners make it to the freestyle rarely, usually when the guys in the higher classes turn down the freestyle invitation. As far as getting an invite from Grant I wouldn't really count on that. He does that VERY rarely, usually when he doesn't have enough freestyle participants. With that contest being the most popular in the NW I doubt he will have that problem. Plus Grant doesn't really care about 3D hotshots he wants the freestyle pilots to be good at IMAC. I've had multiple discussions with him about that and he's very firm on it. Who knows though...???

I'm not trying to discourage you, I'm just telling you what I know so you won't be really dissapointed if it doesn't happen. And if you really really want to make it, so you know how the best way to go about it. You're a very good 3D pilot but it happened in the past where a local 3D hotshot didn't make it in the freestyle because there were too many people ahead of him in the higher IMAC classes (he was in Sportsman). So how's your IMAC looking

P.S. If this is not hijacking a thread I dont' know what is

BTW...Nice video and really nice flying site. The views are super nice, I understand you're flying off your property right? I couldn't find the freestyle vid you're talking about. Send me a link to it.

Yes, I fly off of our property. It's really nice to be able to just walk a hundred and fifty feet from the house and fly!

I just ordered a 50cc Extreme Flight Extra 300 last week! If I got in, I'd fly that. We'll see...

Lets talk with PMs now... I feel bad about kinda' hijacking this thread. That was not my intent in putting that first video in... Sorry John.

Yeah John...What setup did you decide on? And how are you getting in indoor place to practice? Man I REALLY wish I had an indoor place here to fly some F3P foamies.
