I am trying to decide weather to finish my GP 38% extra (needs about $3000), buy a QQ python could finish for about $2400, or buy QQ 101" yak could finish for about $2400. Help me!

Need more votes please! Anyone!

I'd finish the GP Extra.

QQaircraft just went out of business so if you ever needed parts (after Chief runs out) or had damage in shipping you could be screwed.

In that case, you've probably already decided what you want to do so there's no need to wait any longer.

Sell the GP Extra and get a Python. Just because parts may soon be scarcely available doesn't make the plane fly poorly. The object is not to hit the ground. Usually if I do, I'm going to need more than a few parts. I can say, having flown both, you'll like the Python better. I haven't flown any of the QQ Yaks, but have seen a few and most folks that have them, seem to like how they fly. If I were making the choice, I'd go for a Python over a GP Extra, but that's just me.

If it is between these planes, definately go with the Python! The GP Extra is ok, but personaly, I wouldn't recomend it. The fact that QQ is shutting down should be all the more reason to jump on one while you can!

Well.... Since you are a troybuiltmodels.com sponsored pilot I think you should get Bill to buy you all three then you won't have any reason to wait on more votes.

I talked to John Dunlap and he said they dont sell QQ but QQAC's website said they are a dealer. Anyway chief has been given all of QQACs stock. Still thanks for your help.
