I was out helping set the base for the wind sock last night.....9 bags of concrete in one hole
 and we started diging the other piers for the pavilion. the concensus was we will be flying there in a week or so and hopefully have the pavilion up early in july.

FIELD UPDATE ...... The Orchard Farm RC Flyers is opening the field for flying on Saturday, June 24th. NO PARKING or DRIVING allowed on the grass for at least a few months in order for the grass to grow properly and for the ground to settle. The wing sock and frequency board will be in place by then. This Saturday the five remaining piers will be poured for the pavilion and the following Saturday, the floor will be poured. We hope to have the material for the pavilion sometime in July. |

I was able to drive by the field last night. Looks like it will be a VERY nice field! Wide open spaces. I think I found my new home!!!

That field looks nice...I wish it were closer to me. Buder Park can be a real pain in the a** at times but it is 10 minutes from my house.....

I know the club has one picnic table that will go under there. I think the club is working on getting a couple more.
