Jason, I hope you guys have a great time at DOGS. I was looking at the weather in Taylor for the weekend yesterday and it is supposed to be in the low 80's with low wind. I hope Dayton has the same forecast. Tear up the sky and get a bunch of pics...

Chris,
I got a whole new tail from Greg Friend here in ST. Louis. Got everything done, just have to bolt the stab on and hook up flying wires.

I hope to have fun in Dayton....

Those pics turned out pretty good.

I think it is going to be tough squeezing in and out of that field....maybe the farmer will just plant beans from now on.......LOL

I was talking with Greyhoundman tuesday after work and he said that ya'll are getting ready to put down a bunch of seed. Plus he was saying that you got a new grass chopper. Looking forward to flying there....

So far drainage has not been a problem, we have been out there the next day after 1 inch+ rainfalls and the field has been dry enough to drive on. The ground out there seems to suck up the water pretty well, but there is also a gravel strip to park on next to the road if it is too wet.

Also there is talk of drilling a well so we can water the runway and keep it in better shape, but that's still a while off more $$$$.

I took the pictures today. I'm assuming its blocked off because of the new flag pole being put in. Maybe Jim and Christi are worried about someone hitting it. Not really sure. It makes it look perdy, doesn't it?
