Default 2nd Annual Cajun R/C IMAC

Its that time of year again! The 2nd Annual Cajun R/C IMAC event will be held on April 4th & 5th, 2009 in New Iberia, LA at the Cajun R/C Club. For more info visit www.mini-iac.com and/or www.cajunrcclub.com.

Last year we had a great turn out and we are hoping for better this year. I have spoken to a bunch of people planning on attending so please pre-register on the IMAC site.

I'm still working on a few things to add to the event this year so keep checking here for an announcement.

Field will be open all day on Friday for practice.

Schedule:
Pilots meeting at 8:30 AM sharp on Saturday, wheels will leave the ground immediately following. Lunch will be provided to all registered pilots on both days.

My goal is to get in three known rounds on Saturday, so come ready to fly. Then a (tentative) Saturday afternoon freestyle. That will leave us wide open for Sunday, hoping to get an unknown and one round of knows in. Then the awards presentation and on the road for 1:00 PM sharp! Obviously, this aggressive schedule all depends on the weather and how well you listen to Sergeant Oubre. If you plan to fly freestyle I need to know prior to the event. Depending on how many sign up will determine if we have freestyle at all, so sign up!

Please note that the Cajun R/C Field DOES NOT HAVE utilities. No water, no electricity. Don't worry, we do have a clean, regularly serviced port-o-let.

RV's are welcome and encouraged as we have plenty of space to park.

Any questions get in contact with me.

I plan on coming back. It was nice to have a good contest close to home. I recommend this contest to anyone who didn't come last year. We had a blast, I learned a lot, and everything was run smoothly. These guys know how to make it happen! I'm definitely game for some freestyle again.

Ryan I would love to make to this event. I am in AR now and if my school drags out which it could, I may have to debut the new yak at the Cajun. I hope I can make it.

Ryan, so far there's 3 of us - we are not backing out for anything this time - LOL.

The plane I'm flying has short arms so don't know if I can do a freestyle or not - I'm sure I could borrow someone's for the dirty work ??:nanahump:
