mine worked. no more wet cowl,dead sticks and idles now.

Hmmm maybe this is why my cowl always seem drenched. Is there any idea what serial number started with the update? I bought my new last sept.

If you just pull your carb off you will see the O ring on the aluminum plate. Im sure DA has them included on there new engines now, but not sure when they started too.

I am curious what the cut-off point for serial numbers is too. I bought mine new a little less than a 1/2 year ago.

No dead sticks yet.... but haven't checked under the hood to see if anything is leaking.
