Dude, that is one HOT pepper!! You have to let us know how the elevons work out in the airframe like that...I have been thinking about something similar..

iflyos... This is the first time i decided to do an integral elevon setup so I will make sure we post the results.. we were not looking for crazy control so these should suffice for a flying pepper.
i was just hoping to get stable upright flight only, almost in a slight harrier to view the true profile of this crazy build.

ya know im teasing you about the speeder,, if i built such a masterpiece i wouldnt fly it eitherhahah. the yaploneo looks great, that thing is sure gonna get the looks from the nieghbors hahah. why glider test, just slap a 480 outrunner on it and go hover! another idea ill toss out since i know i wont be there.. to bad one of the 50% hemple cubs dont have bomb bay.. how many yapolenos would one be able to drop

Hi Kris, I was using a new rustoleum rattle can paint called Aqua its water based and dries fairly quick. Also for the green and highlights I am using an airbrush with Createx craft paint from pat catans store. Hope this helps!!!

Thanks Mike... The more custom builds Ive been doing the more I realized that the odds are against the Speeder. I am trying to work out a very large profile version with mostly graphics for the detail to avoid drag. I am still working out the geometry and am getting close . I hope it ends up 3 ft or so.
I like the Pepper drop idea. That would be hilarious.. If it would only make the trip up, at high speeds

hahah i hear ya.. have you considered making a tunnel hull ducted fan speeder? i would bet it would fly like that. and have an airbrush wizard paint the details. yapodrop via rocket hahah. tho the moreideas i coem up with sounds like it would be suite better at a huckfest hahaha

There was a guy on RCGroups that did a hover craft Snowspeeder and if I remember correct it didnt work out so well, he did a great job on the build though....

Well, The motor is mounted and getting ready to run the servos and receiever... more pics to come....
