Default Gas Tank Question!?

I have seen lots of people sneak the fuel tubbing around the back of the gas tank. Which fuel line is it and for what reason?

If you are talking about fuel line wrapped around the back of the tank, that is the vent line. Some do that because for IMAC flying if you have a very long downline manuever, you can leak fuel out of the vent line and it runs down the bottom of the plane, just messy, thats all. This is a good way to prevent that.

"just messy, thats all."

I have also come to the notion that I get longer flight times due to all the fuel that I am NOT loosing on downlines!

Used to be, only a few who actually deployed this method, now it seems like it is all the rage out there
