There have been quite a few planes out there that get a lot of initial attention on RC web sites and when I got some of them, I was so pumped up on my maiden that I initially overrated the plane due to sheer joy of a successful first flight. As time goes by, if it still amazes you, then its the real deal. It was like that with my Double Vision, which I recently lost, but luckily I found another one a year ago & snatched it up quick. Will this plane cause a permanent smile & "WoW"??? I might sound pretty hard to satisfy, but I already have my mind made up, that this is my next plane, I just want to keep hearing the praise as I wait!

Some what of a scary post above, but if your looking for a plane that will keep the WOW factor alive in your life than the AJ Slick is definately the ticket.

Gas or electric??

Well James if you end up going with the Slick i don't think you can go wrong. Look at it this way , with the way this thing is shaped : tall flat sides , the biggest dang control surfaces on any 50cc bird , it's built strong , light , covering is about as perfect as you can get and not to mention awesome hardware and about 100 other things i could list.....you just can not go wrong! I'm heading out to the field again in about 1 hour and plan on flying all day , then hopefully again all day Friday , Sat and Sunday. I'm going to start messing around with some higher rates and bringing it down onto the deck......this is where the fun starts.

I dont think its scary, odd maybe, but true, I've had a few planes that at first flight I was elated, then later on I kind of got used to it, then bored. I have 3 planes now that are getting better as I do, thats saying a lot when I've been flying one for 2 years, the other for over 1 and they still fly better than I do. I wonder if I order the AJ scheme now, will I be billed only when it ships to me? Maybe my wife won't find out until when I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery, I'll get maximum sympathy then!!!(sorry, my spelling is slipping along with other things)
