I got the pics from RCG, so if you're logged on, you can see it. Essentially I've moved them as attachments so it shouldn't matter much.

As for weight, Andrew said that the ES Pipes weigh 4 oz instead of 9 oz for the cans, so that's a 5 oz saving.

wow, does that 4oz include the header though?

also is the white panels in the canopy removable? ie to paint black. did that to the katana, and with the clear 3dhs canopys it looks so much better. that white bugs me (lol rediculous "issue" to have with a plane, but says alot about how good the plane is too )

any chance 3dhs will ever go to tinted canopys? or maybe have new models have black panels instead of white? looks so much more realistic than the stark white.

your really pushing me over the edge here "doc" damn i love that plane. like others have said, the weight still scares me, but the vids show its blatently obvious its such a floaty flyer. great job guys.

Not sure, but doubt that. The header weight should be the same for either though.

The white panel is completely removable.

The Slick is the floatiest, easiest 3Ding 50cc available. This is coming from a guy who built a SUB 20 lb 35% Dalton 260 .

Btw, if you're wondering whether to get one or not.. there are only THREE of the yellow, and TWO of the red (Jesky's competition scheme) available until the April shipment gets here .

theres no header on a stock muffler, thats what i was saying, ill bet with header, the pipe is not lighter than the stock muffler. although performance would no doubtably be much greater, not to mention the sound.

damn. ive kind of got my eye on that yellow version, never been a fan of the standard star spangled banner jesky paint jobs lol. but it grows on ya i guess.

the yellow version with some added decals could be made really sharp i think.

more vids!

The white cockpit floor is removeable lightweight foam-board. It makes a good base to stick a photo-cockpit to. The rear headrest plate is 1/8" light balsa.

We're getting a few more of these in-between now and April, but they did almost completely sell out in the pre-order, so there aren't many left. Anyone interested in stock status should contact us at the shop 1-830-990-6978 M-F. Phone is of course very busy so email and pm are also good.

Thanks!

Speaking of decals, Rob at ADCHobbystore.com has created some awesome decals for the 89" Slick as well as the 51" Slick.

Manny,

Once you build and fly the 89" Slick you are going to be so spoiled .

At any rate, here's my completed 89" Slick, along with my two lovely young models .

Just to show you what can be stuffed in a Honda Fit, I can fit my 89" Slick, all supporting equipments, and a fully assembled 51" Slick as well.
