Awesome! I was immediately comfortable with the Slick as well. It's such an awesome plane.

thumbs - Congrats on the maiden, and thanks!
Jim Woodward - Thanks very much! Sensei - I owe you thanks for all of the good information you've posted over the years, I've paid attention to every bit of it, and I was happy to put at least a few of your lessons to use in this project. Much appreciation for the teaching you've done. As a matter of fact, it was your techniques that I got to see helping Josh with his 19.5Lb. 35% Dalton a few years ago that got me thinking that we could ARF planes like this. Most of all, I need to constantly keep thanking Andrew for all of his help and for developing this great design for us. Andrew rocks, and he has more good stuff up his sleeve.

Josh and Kevin, Great job in your first precision contest. I'm glad you had fun, and hope to see you at more events this year.
Josh has been generous enough to let me fly this plane a few times (sorry about the accidental harrier landing the other day Josh. LOL!) I have to say, this is the easiest to 3D electric plane I have ever flown. It flies straight pretty well too. Congratulations to Ben, Andrew, and the whole 3D Hobby Shop crew for a job well done. -Steve- |

Got another video loaded up. This one has the stick input so you guys can see how much I didn't have to struggle to get the Slick to fly the way I wanted it to
. As always, mad props to my better half who shot the video. Thanks to Robert and Kevin who were there at the field also. That was fun guys .http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/.../89SLICK15.wmv |

It's not cheap shipping a plane of this size. Try shipping it to a business address. I bet you'll get a cheaper price quote. Tim
