Box 1 of 2 arrived today. FLAWLESS is the best way to describe it. Double boxed, foam all around.

I ordered mine from Ben yesterday and i must say he was real informative and anwsered all my quetions on this bird . I am putting a Taurus 52 up front that i have laying idle. I ordered the Yellow and red scheme and the shipping was discounted due to the Nail show discouted shipping price. I cant wait to get this one in the air.

If there are any guys from 3dhobyshop.com reading this thread, could you tell me when the "Red Scheme" will be back in stock? I am replacing a 27% H9 Extra 260 that tip stalled on final, and I want to get this airframe. I am on a time schedule due to local competitions, and I want this airframe, but if the backorder is going to be long, I will have to look elsewhere. You can either PM me or just reply to this post......
Thanks, Mike |

I appreciate the posting of the Prototype being sold by AJ, but I would much prefer th have the production model of the airframe. Thanks again....

What are you competing in? If it's IMAC, you will find no difference between the preproduction and the production model. How do I know? I have BOTH. The only difference is the fact that the production model has bigger ailerons, which makes rolling maneuvers faster, but for IMAC you're not going to be rolling that fast anyway.

I am competing in local freestyle competitions. Nothing that is sanctioned, but there is a group where I fly that has monthly competitions with some really great prizes..... I really like the larger ailerons on the production model of the plane. I have already been in contact with Ben from 3dhobby.com and there may be one available, but I will not know until tuesday.
Thanks for the reply bonedoc, I have heard so much great things about this airframe that if I can not get the red/white scheme, I may consider the yellow one even though the colors do not tickle my feathers.... |

I have the yellow one now, and IMHO it's just as good.
Here's a vid of me attempting freestyle at the Kingsbury IMAC. I agree that if you're going to do freestyle, you should have the new wing. BoneDoc's Saturday Freestyle |

Congrats T. It's going to be a night and day difference upgrading to the Slick from your H9 260.

I am loving my slick. I had to change out motors. The first one didn't have any power. The DLE 55 that I put in makes this plane a blast. I have to set the timer on my tranmitter or I will fly it out of fuel every time. It feels like I am up a few seconds and the 8 minute timer goes off. I have the second timer set so I get 2 more minutes but then I am way low on gas.
This is my new favorite plane without a doubt.
