hey josh.....don't know if you still visit RCG that much any more , but i sent you a PM about your setup on the 89" slick. Just wanted to know if you are still using the GR-70 Reaper motor , and what ESC , batteries and so forth you are using. I looked at the price of a jeti spin 200 amp ESC....uuhhgg!!.....$695.00! but the motors and batteries aren't priced all that bad.

OK so I am almost done with the build, and I have to say that these guys have thought of everything...... Most kits I have built require me to do some fabrication, and I have to go to the trusty parts box to find the right pieces to finish the plane. 3Dhobbyshop.com has provided lots of extras in this kit as far as parts and hardware is concerned, so you can really do whatrever you want with your set-up.

GREAT JOB!!!!

The SHP and the Slick are a quantum leap forward from the Katana. You're in for a treat for sure .

Did anyone install the push pull on the rudder instead of the pull pull? If so what length servo arm did you use and how was balance?

Mike, I am going with the pull-pull, but I am using 1.5" arms throughout with the provided horns. What servos are you going with?

Hi John . I am using Hitec 7955 servos all the way around with SWB 1.5" arms on the ailerons, 2" arms on the elevators, probably 1.5" on the rudder. I went with a DLE 55, TBM silent beauty pitts muffler, Mezjlic carbon spinner and Mejzlic 22-8 prop. Smart- FlyPower Expander Sport Plus and A123's all around
