Default Aresti snap roll question

I have a question regarding snap rolls shown on an Aresti diagram. I understand that a non-shaded triangle is a positive snap and one that is filled in red is a negative snap. I've always seen positive snaps shown with the point of the triangle facing upward but came across one that faces down and I'm not sure if this means something special. (See Intermediate Unknown February 23, 2008 figure #7) Does the orientation of the triangle matter?

The little flag on the top of the triangle points in the direction of flight but it dose not matter which side of the line the triangle points unless there is more than one thing on that line then it matters because they can be same direction or opp. direction. Like #7 of the advanced you have 2 of a 4 point roll with an opp. direction Neg. snap. or in the unlimited #6 you have 1 pos. snap then same direction 1 full roll.

I didn't look at the sequence, but it sounds like a positive snap from inverted. If I remember correctly, about the only place you will find this in an Intermediate sequence is in an "Avalanche", which is a snap at the top of a loop.

Both the advanced and unlimited 09' known sequences have positive snaps from inverted lines. Mark is correct, that the direction of the triangle has nothing to do with the direction (right or left) of the snap. There is nothing special about a snap triangle facing down.
Hope this helps, Dan.
