I was just wondering who was planning on heading to UT this weekend, I hadn't seen a post for it yet. I was wondering if there is anyone in the area that has heard how weather is going to hold up?

Well I won't be making it down, but I saw your post this morning so I paid particular attention to the weather forecast for St.George. This from the TV station generally considered to have the most accurate forecasts, KSL;
Friday is projected to be cloudy and temps in the low 60's. Storms in the area but not expected to be south of Cedar City. Sat/Sun are showing partly cloudy but no rain. Temps in the high 50's on Saturday and low 60's on Sunday with clouds being slightly fewer on Sunday. Hope that helps you make a decision. |

St. George contest was a lot of fun new field is really nice one of the prettiest fields I have been at. We woke up to snow covered mountains on saturday morning and some cold wind. Jeff Szebuer put on a cool show in the wind for us while the rest of us waited for conditions to calm. But once the contest got started everything went smooth. Contest with Free Style is always fun. Another great job by Jeff Blaylock and all that helped to put on the event.
The results haven't been posted on IMAC web site yet, and I don't remember them all but here is what I remember, and my memory is not beyond making a mistake. Unlimited 1. Jeff Szueber 2. Eric Powell 3. Jeff Blaylock Advanced 1. Bill Adams 2. Dan Underkofler 3. Jim Spurlock Intermediate 1. Kyle Goodwine 2. Spencer Nordquist 3. Sportsman 1. Kirt Campbell 2. Anthony Matera 3. Andrew Taylor Basic 1. Mike Smith |

A very good effort as always on the part of Jeff Blaylock and Brian C. A new field and many thanks to those
who donated their time and efforts to make this possible. Remote Possibilities are a really cool group of guys. We had a really good time, good food, and Team Vegas Gang was well represented. I was truly impressed with "Old Dog's" flying. He put it up like a "Young Pup". Big improvement Frank!!

St George was my first IMAC and I had a GREAT time. I could've flown better, but I could've flown a lot worse! We drove from Colorado and it was sure worth it. Met some great people and saw some awesome flying. The guys in the upper classes and the freestyle were something to watch.

I echo the above sentiments. A few of us drove up from Arizona, and we had a great time. Congratulations to Jeff and Brian, on this contest being the biggest turn out ever. I love the fact that as contestants, the score sheets are already on the scribes clip board when you come up to fly. That is a nice touch to a great contest. Hopefully next year will set another record for attendance.

This was my first Imac event also. I live in St.George and have wanted to compete in this event for a couple of years. I am glad i made it happen this year. It was more fun than i expected. What a great group of diverse people. Every single person had a totally positive attitude. I want to thank everyone for all their help and positive outlooks. You are all a great bunch. I had the time of my life and am now addicted. Also made some new friends. Many thanks to Jeff Blaylock and Brain Copfler, those guys worked hard all weekend and ran the event smoothly, not to mention found time to fly themselves. On behalf of myself and the Remote Possibilities rc club in St.George i want to thank all those who attended and helped as it was an awesome show of sportmanship and comraderie. I look forward to the next one. Scott.
