Thanks for the response..... -Do the stabs/rudder have lightening holes cut? -Gear cuffs are the fiberglass pieces that meet the fuse to the gear on a 260 instead of just gear going into the fuse.... -a picture of the bottom of the hatch would help to determine how to put a hatch access panel in Sounds like its a great bird!

The rudder and stabs are built up with open bay construction. VERY light. There are no wheel LG cuffs included at this time. I will snap a photo of the hatch for you later. Craig

Finished the rudder servo install and installed the rudder (which is removable via a continuous music wire hinge pin). Notice the removable access panel to mount tailwheel, fish servo extensions, etc.
Also, fit the engine to the firewall. The cowl is pre-mounted with a cowl ring (no external screws) Finally, installed the Pete Model CF tailwheel. 1.6 oz complete with wheel! Appears to be very rugged despite its light weight. So far, extremely easy build. Will keep you posted Last edited by cbk07; 05-08-2006 at 06:46 PM. |

I am shimming it out 1/8". Just fitting it up in those pics. I installed the firewall back a little as it is easier to shim out the motor than move it back!! Craig
