I have never seen a plane packed as well as this one was. Each box was double boxed, and inside of that was reinforced with a thin MDF. In short this packaging was indestructable.

The next step was to remove the parts from their nicely bubble wrapped packaging. Aeroworks also provides a nice CD with a seriously complete manual.

The first step in the manual is to iron down all of the covering, and seal the hinge gaps. We could only find 2 spots on the turtle deck that needed to be ironed down.

As with most people we got the fuse on her legs. With this plane it came with all of the hardware seperated into nice packages, so it takes all of that guess work out of it. The first thing you have to do is remove the landing gear plate cover that is held in place with two phillips wood screws. I would reccomend wicking some CA into the holes to harden the threads.

The landing gear comes lightened, and is high quality aluminum, the landing gear is painted and it even has the holes drilled for the wheel pants.
