The landing gear plate has the locking blind nuts installed already. This makes installing the landing gear a snap. Inside the landing gear bag is the allen head bolts, and washers need to complete this step.

The next step we completed was installing the landing gear cuffs (don't know what to call them) axels, tires, and wheel pants. The wheel pants have the blind nuts pre installed, and the axels have slots for the wheel pants to set into. It takes all of the guess work out of trying to get the wheel pants straight and even with eachother. Again the hardware package is seperated for you.

Now is the installation of the axels, tires, and wheel pants. Again every hardware package is seperated and attached to its respective parts.

Wheel pant installation. Once you are completed with installing the wheel pants, you can reinstall the landing gear plate cover. This completes the main landing gear assembly.

On to the tail wheel installation, we reccomend before installing the tail wheel that you hinge the rudder. With the Aeroworks QB line of aircraft this is the only hinging you have to do. The hinges are pre-drilled, and ready for installation. The hinges are located in the rudder package. We used aero-poxy, but you can use your favorite epoxy.

The tailwheel again comes in its own packaging. The instructions make this assembly really easy. Even somebody without knowledge of giant scale airplanes could easily put this together by just following the manual. Don't forget to wick CA into the holes for the tail gear.

Before we move on we couldn't resist putting the wings and stabs on to see what it looks like all together.

I also wanted to point out the firewall is already installed for you and it comes reinforced and pinned from the factory. The motor can be installed in as little as 20 min. This is a nice touch from Aeroworks.

The next step was to mount the motor. With the included templates it makes this process a snap. We used a little CA to hold the template in place. All you have to do match up the lines, and drill.

We are using a DA-100 for this plane with standard mufflers, this should be more than enough power for this plane.

If you are not using canister than you can use the supplied canister tunnel cover. This comes with the package containing the motor templates, and servo mounts. The canister tunnel is plenty long for tuned pipes.

The manual calls out for 3 of the supplied spacers. Which was the perfect amount, this kit does not come with the bolts to mount the engine, this is because everyone has there preference on mounting hardware. The mounting of the engine really only took between 15 and 20 min.

In all we spent an hour and a half on the plane so far. Before we continue I wanted to stop and talk about some of the nice features on this plane. First of all the canopy comes pre glued from the factory. The hatch has been lightened to reduce weight.
