Pull strings are installed to make installing pull/pull wires and elevator servos easier.

The cowling comes pre-baffled and ready for installation. This saves allot of time especially if you have never built baffeling before.

mine had a weird fitment where the cowl and canopy met. I had to shim the inside top of the cowl out just so the canopy would sit all the way down. another issue is the stock axels... they twist right off when snugging down. do your self a favor and get some nice titanium ones before you fly it. not dogging aeroworks.. just stating my findings.

oh yeah.. mine came in at 28lbs 6oz. dl100/stock mufflers/only 2 2600 pacs/EQ6T/4- 5985's/4- 5955's

Wow! Are you sure on the weight? Your power system is very light?

Now I'm really worried about mine. Is the DL heavier than the DA?

If my calculations are close, Mine is going to weigh 29 pounds.

This thing is gonna need some carbon fiber tubes to start.

I was just on RCU and there is a guy who just madened his with cans and carbon tubes. His weighed 30 pounds on the nose. I'm afraid that this plane builds heavy.

The airframe auctually feels really light. The wings weight remind me of the H9 260 they are very light. We will weigh the plane when completed.

ferocious,
In that video you posted, the guy flying the Aeroworks 300 is using a pretty fancy airplane restraint device, any idea who makes those and where someone can buy them?
thanks

I love the looks of this plane and I know AeroWorks means quality. I need to find something to put a 106 on cans into, but at 30 lbs? Might have to keep on looking.
