Why not stick a zdz super 80 in it. 1lb less weight wise and pulls a 100cc plane around real good.

Before I continue with what got done last night. I must tell you that we are about 6 hours into this plane(by the end of lastnight), and there is no reason why it cant be done next weekend. We just need to install all of the electronics in the fuse and the fuel tank and shes ready to go.
People are concerned about the weight on this plane. Lastnight we placed all of the batteries, reciever, switches, all other items necessary to make this plane fly. We then weighed the plane and it will come in between 28 and 29 pounds and this is with a 3W110 on it with canisters. We do not see an issue with this weight. |

We then moved onto the installation of the servos in the wings and elevators. I will detail the installation of one wind and one elevator.
Aeroworks provides pull strings for both the inboard and outboard servo. This is a nice touch. |

The next thing we did was layout the servos to determine what legnth extensions were needed. Since we are not using a powerbox on this we decided to make the extensions a little short and use a matchbox inside the wing.

Don't forget to use heat shrink to hold the servo extensions together. The last thing we need is a extension coming loose in flight. We connected the end of our exteion to the pull sting and pulled them through the wing. We then drilled the servo mount holes and wicked CA into the holes we drilled. The last thing was to secure the servo with 4 screws.

Aeroworks includes a very complete and very nice control horn and linkage set. Here is a picture of the control horn hardware it includes.

The instructions are very clear and through. It states that the servo spline is to face towards the leading edge of the wing.

The next step was to install the control horns, and as you can see by the other post they include everything. When installing the control horns don't forget to wick CA into the holes before installing the screws.
