Default 1/4 Cap 232 broken wing

I've got a 1/4 cap with a wing that is broken where it meets the fuselage, which was kindly donated after I helped crash it. I was going to repair the wing but I decided to build some new ones.

What I was hoping to do was to cut some foam ones and skin them with fiberglass and carbon. I have alot of experience working with composites but I was wondering if anyone here had tried something similar in the past that could help me out with some information.

Sounds strong, but light is the key. Especially around this size plane, its easy to make them too heavy. Do you think your wing will be as light as a wing that has been sheeted with balsa? My new wildhare edge has a balsa sheeted wing and man its strong and light. Good luck, take some pics if you decide to do it, I would like to see the layup process.

It's on!!! I'll cut the cores later this week and laminate some wings in the next month or so. I'll post somepics of some test pieces at the end of the week

I've been getting alot of help form Hand Launch Glider builders, I know that this sort of process has been done before for this size airplane, but I need to find out how light I can go before its not going to be safe anymore.

Hopefully the plane will come in around 4.5Kg when its done with an OS 140 RX and pipe for power.
