I got one in red, should be here on Tuesday. I thought I was done buying planes for a while, but the video sucked me in.

Chris', the Higher plane one is a gorgeous piece of film, but I like it less editing and longer uninterrupted flight clips when trying to pick a plane. At any rate that was some sick flying in both vids!

One day soon I'll post the whole flight of RJ from the dock that I filmed from the roof of the boat dock. That flight was the centerpiece of the EXP film and was packed with good flying. I had made a change to reduce the elevator throw that morning which was the root cause of the crash at the end. But otherwise that was a near perfect flight. A great combination of precision and 3D.

Best flying electric I ever "had". It bit the dust sunday from about 100ft. straight in. Lost signal or you could say a brown out. Watched it as it plumited to its death. But I have another on the way, and will be flying again by Saturday. I had just been showing off with some torque rolling a couple ft. off the deck , pulled out to show the verticle power, made a right turn and all of a sudden it went nose down. With no responce all i could do was watch. When I got to it all control surfaces were working, nothing broken loose as far as control surfaces and both lights on the main rec. and satellite rec. were flashing. that is why I suggest it was a brown out. But sh*@ happens, buy another and try it again. happy flying

leelee - it sucks when that happens. Where you using the Airboss ESC? Seems like I've heard of a few instances like you describe...all using the airboss45 (different planes). I wonder if the ESC had something to do with it?

BTW - I got my Torque/Airboss combo yesterday...just need to find a few minutes to slap everything together.

I have the Airboss 45 and the 820 and AR6200 in mine. Everytime I landed I had the flashing red on my Rx. I made a gentle flight never really getting in the throttle on a 4 cell for six minutes and it still did it. What's up with that?

Same here. I was using a 6200, and had the same thing. Flashing... I don't think that it's the ESCs as I have seen it happen to different planes with different ESCs.
Sure is sad when it happens.

Maybe we need to get the new Carbon Fiber Rx's? All that Cf in the plane is giving it problems...IDK just throwing something out there. Mine is almost ready to maiden and don't want any problems..

Mine hasn't locked/browned out once. I just know the flashing reds usually means power drop. It will do it as soon as I nail the throttle on the ground. I've been too chicken to fly it until I figure it out. Might try a different Rx and see what happens.
