Okay...Okay. Let me try this setup then. Sooner or later I am going to figure out the prefered setup.

2818T/900 with a 12x6 prop, 45 amps speed controller and a 4S 2200mah battery.
That should make this plane shake!!

Thank you everyone, now I know a lot more about the plane, and it seems to me that we have to wait a while for it to arrive to Europe other then in pictures. Or maybe are we lucky this time??

Hey guys wanted to give you an update on the new 48" Extra 300 EXP, I just got off the phone with Chris earlier this evening and the pre-orders have been shipped out. Get on these while they're in stock, they're gonna go fast. Chris said he opened a few boxes and everything looks great!!! Check out the website for more info http://extremeflightrc.com/html/48extra.html. Here's a couple video's of myself and Chris flying them at SEFF, it was pretty windy as you'll see in the video's but it's obvious that they handled the wind great and are a blast to fly!!!!!!!!

I couldn't look at it online anymore. I broke down and ordered one with the 2814/820. Looks like too much fun to resist.

I had it in my shopping cart and was ready to click the mouse button to order it but decided against it as I need a 40%er for imac so I should not be spending anymore money. But it looks like it flies great I supposedly its the best flying little electric to come along. Cant wait to hear how they fly.

I know the feeling. If I lose my 40%, I'm just going to take a break from the big boys. I'm tired of all my $$$ going into one plane at a time.

I'll have a couple of them at our local contests so you'll be able to check them out, lol, you'll end up spending the money. They really fly great, very locked in. Are you by chance thinking about the 123" Extra? We put a ton of flights on the final version at Joe Nall, it's amazing, I think it's gonna be one of the most competitive arfs on the market.

It looked like it will be a competitor. It looked great in the air. It has potential to be a future trailer tenant.

At one time...I had 4 40% planes. I now have one...and a bunch of electrics. I guess technically I have a Carden, but it is new in the box and will probably remain that way until the end of time. I got it cheap enough so Im not going to sell it, but have no desire to build at this time. When Chris's 40% extra comes out, I will probably buy it. I will more than likely strip my Comp Arf Super Xtra down and transfer the parts over to the EF Extra. I will keep the Super Xtra as a back up, but I am so much happier with one plane. It makes maintenance so much easier. As long as I try not to do too many stupid things with it, it should last me a while. I do find it conforting that I can go to the field...fly...put my plane up..and I am done. About once a month I go over the plane to make sure everything is tight...Takes me about 30 minutes to hit all of it...then I am good for another month. Nothing to build...nothing to screw with...just keeping it simple.
