Hi guys I like to introduce the New Edge 540 CPLR 40% ARF by CA Model. Design by Cristophe Paysant-Le Roux.

Wingspan: 116 "
Length: 109.6"
Weight: 38 LBS
Builder: CA Model.
Engine: 150 cc / 170 cc
Wing Area: 2290 Square Inch

High performance ARF design by the famous CPLR ,4 times F3A World Champion, 6 times European F3A champion and TOC Champion .
ARF features foam sheeted bottom (No Stringers)
The Edge 540 maintains a very scale appearance-
Foam sheeted wings and stabilizers for lighter weight dependable structure
Ultra light weight High performance model
Pre hinged wings and stabs using Robarts hinges. Builder needs only to glue the control surfaces into position.
Pre hinged Fin and Rudder.
One piece rudder / fuse.
Pre mounted landing gear
Pre mounted wheel pants
Pre mounted cowl with cowl ring. No exterior screws exposed.
T-6061 aluminum tubes
Canopy is pre mounted and painted.
Removable wings and stabs
Drop-in canister ready
Control horns included.
Laser cut engine mounting templates
Ulltralight wheels 100 mm
Pull pull rudder system
Interlocking firewall and landing gear plate for improved strength
Stickers included

This airframe shows the same qualities as others made by World Models. Could you provide pictures of the hardware package, or the tail wheel so we could confirm or deny this.

It's always nice to see a new Edge out on the market but I can't understand for the life of me why would they allow such a ugly color scheme into production?
I don't want to bust your stones pal I just hope it fly's better than it looks.

Do they offer a ARC version?

If you don't like the color scheme, well you will have the choice of the ARC, that Will be available by august 2009.

Roger in my eyes the color arrangement just doesn't seem to flow together with the colors used but like you said its in the eyes of the beholder.
It's nice to hear that a ARC version will be available in time.

Blame CPLR if you don't like the color scheme. It is just like his original.
