All in all a pretty good start to the IMAC year for the West. Special thanks to Roman for an awesome job of "CD"ing the event.

Special thanks to Scott from DL Engines Australia for his generosity in donating all the goodies he donated for prizes.

Also thanks Desert Aircraft for the prizes and their ongoing support.

Roll on Wanneroo IMAC our next competition.

cheers,

Jeff

Actually he only flew 2 rounds which is 4 sequences and none dropped so it's 3402 out of 4000 possible points.

not a giant but

had my first go at plyon ... it ended in tears

took a turn thought i had plenty of room and a tree jumped out and grabbed my Pulse XT, it had a good life nearly 2 years.

it was awesome crash at least, fuselage knife edged and wedged in the tree and the wings and engine kept going ...

found the wings in the jungle, and later in the afternoon went back for a second look and found the engine about 50meter through the scrub, least i got the 55AX back. the fuse is still in the tree

it will be coming down tomorrow even if i have to level the thing with a chain saw

the day wasnt a totally waste i did manage to sell my 30% extra, so there is some $$ for something new

I love the tumble at about 1min into it, and the rolling harriers at the end

Very laid back bloke too. I met him in avalon in 2007 before he was flying red bull. He was more than happy to show me around the giles and explain what it can do. Very similar personality to Pip Borman
