Ok guys its officiac the SWAMPS comp will be a one day .
We will be kicking things off at 9.00 am and it should be a
pretty easy day with the lower numbers .

I wanted to wait until the last min to make the call to see
if numbers were going to increase so one day is all we
are going to need to get the job done .

I am out at my sisters tonight so this notice will have to do
until I get home . I f any one knows people who are coming
please pass the message on .

Emails will follow to all ASAP

Vic state CD

PS , IT WILL BE SUNDAY

Hi Scott,

Yep sure did, they will be perfect. I haven't had time to get them in the plane yet, hopefully I get time tomorrow.

Hows the new 260 going?

Good day at the field today. Maidened the baudis trinity, all went well. First landing was way down the other end of the field as I had no elevator compensation for the crow brakes which resulted in a massive nose up pitch moment when deployed. So I had to land it clean. Second flight was much better with the elevator trim working with the flap actuation.

Also had some fun with the Sukhoi.

Here's some pics.

yeah mate is coming together nicely got all the control surfaces connected to servos all except the rudder should have the motor here this week so fingers crossed it will be finished by the end of the week. took the little one out for some fun today went up and tried to fly my sequence with alex in the air at the same time not much fun in that was not very comfortable at all spent more time looking to see where his plane was instead of watching mine so we didnt have a mid air it kept putting us both off what we were meant to be doing ian was trying to call for us but still didnt help much, very unnerving having another plane flying a sequence at the same time you are trying to do yours not good at all.

Well I finally got to maiden my 260 on the weekend and all I can say is im impressed.

Just with the two flights we had I can tell what a good airframe these Aeroworks kits are ,just one click of down trim and she tracked true and really felt locked in.

Had a little scare on the second downwind run, just as I started to apply some more power there was a rather loud vibration, quickly reduced power and landed without any issues to find the peice of covering supplied to seal the leading edge had parted company.

Fueled her up changed the undies and all was good for flight #2.

Can't wait for next weekend. No flying pics but some happy snaps of the new toy.

Not quite sure what DCR and BSY are but there is certainly nothing gay about yellow planes.

Now my yellow hand bag and matching shoes may be a different story!

im glad to hear it was all good norm i hope you have as much pleasure with yours as i and alex have had with ours i am impressed with the 50cc version and cant wait to get the 100cc going again then comes the fun of the 50cc ultimate cant wait to see what it flies like if it is anything like the extras im sure i will be impressed. oh and DCR is Dog (*&% Red and BSY is Baby @#$% Yellow, but there are more yellow ones in Aus than red ones so we win just like the dragons did on the week end
