Second flight was much better with the elevator trim working with the flap actuation.

Also had some fun with the Sukhoi.

Here's some pics.
Good stuff, Rusty. Glad the glider went well. How long were the first flights?
Looks like you relaxed with the Sukhoi afterwards...

G'day Doc,

The first flight was only a few minutes as testing the flaps and crow setting lost me alot of height. The second flight was about 5-6min with some light lift encounted and a spot landing at my feet to boot. Managed to guestimate the required down elevator required for flap and crow deployment so the second flight was much more enjoyable.

Good stuff, and excellent work on the landing. Gliding is a heap of fun (except with an IMAC plane...) when there's lift around to be had.

I always use regular unleaded, should I use premium in my DA100?

Cylinder head and crank case may look like a clone but I'm pretty sure this engine uses piston port induction v's the DA and DL reed block design. So, if nothing else, it may be interesting to compare the two induction designs in very similar engines.

The engine is manufactured by XYZ in China nd re-badged as Turnigy which is Hobby City's own brand name.

Yeah had a great practice today as well......would have been ready for a good next day.....such is life. Will be interesting...you have BadKarma flying against you again....

Glad to here SRM is back on his bike and flying again.....was a bit worried he might have had enough when the Krill was damaged...understandably at the $$$ it costs....

So I guess its between, you, BadKarma, lucky Phil, and the other Scott for Basic.

Hope you fly well. You have been getting better each time I have see you fly....maybe "welcome to sportsman soon for you"...lol.....its actually a lot more fun than basic...it pushes you that much further again...really enjoying it.

Anyway next time mate...all the best to you both....
