Default Which yak 85cc

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 85cc plane. I already have an extra so I decided on a yak. Now, I saw a few new ones come out and I can't decide which one to pick, I know that some still aren't out but I want to know your opinions on which one would be the best for regular and 3d flying. The three I am looking at are OMP yak sp-55m, the new Pilot RC yak, and the Aeroworks yak54. I always wanted the aeroworks but now that the new ones came out, I have a hard choice.

Which ever one you like the most, they really all fly the same, some are a little more complete than others.

Take a look at the Extreme Fight RC 110" Yak. It flies real good.
I would have to say that it is the best 100cc Yak on the market right now.

i picked up a used comp arf 2.6 yak airframe and installed a da 100l on re2 pipes and it is pretty awsome. there are some good deals on airframes out there, im a big fan of the comps now, they wear much better then wood, mine has 1000+ flights on it and its in better shape then my 1 yr old qq yak.

Definitively the EF 110" Yak. I have flown one and they are by far awesome. Flown it w a DA-100 on ES composites pipes.

Totally! The AW flies Imac, and pattern well....but your reasearch will tell you it does not 3d as easy as others, also it has flat sides and is on the heavy side. The EF is huge and does everything really well....sounds like its too big for you. The OMP is really small looking, and unproven. The pilot is a lite do it all, maybe not Imac as good as aw, but WAY lighter and will still do great in Imac but have 3d capabilities as well. good luck.....871

If you do youre research you will see the DOD Guys, Kevin Elder, Joe Hunt and Mr Leesburg 3ding the AW yak very nicely, the new 85 a new design from reports is superb. If i could fit that ef in my transport it would be a no brainer , but its huge. Ive gone AW 100cc and will be litghning as much as possible it always helps on all planes.

Wow just saw the russian thunder scheme, if you can fit it in go for it, or hey detachable rudder its doing it for me!!

Anyway choice is yours and as you soon discover how to get it to the field.

Mark

I know they fly great.....What I read is that it was a great plane, but others may 3d EASIER not neccesarily better. I guess the problem there was I read about it.....could be BS, just what I read and others said when I was in the market for a 100cc yak. Good luck man

Extreme Flight is the only way to go. If you know someone with a EF yak 50cc or 100cc. Ask to fly it and your mind will be made up. They are the best 3D out ther and they fly like a trainer.
