Default Battery choices

Hey fellas.....

Kinda been out of the hobby for a while and on top of that, I wasn't big into electrics anyway......

Just curious what are some of the best batteries for 15 to 20 oz planes? I am figuring on a 1300mah or so, but wasn't sure what brands are best.....Thanks

Cap I'm a big fan of the DualSky packs - they really provide a lot of punch. You can get them at www.2dogrc.com and I've been to several hobby shops that stock them as well. I'm running 3S thirteen-somethings on my 40" 3D foamy and they rock when paired up with a Hacker A20-20L.

In that size, IMHO, no one has been able to top Thunder Power 1320 pro lites. I've had over 300 charges on some of mine that are 3 years old, and they keep going strong.

I have two of the SL (16C rated) 1300 3S packs on my foamy. With the A20-20L and an APC slow-fly 10x4.7 prop, performance is outstanding!
