Default Extra 330L 100cc

Hello Guys,

just coming from a crash of my Phoenix Yak 54,as i was doing an inverted harrier and turned down wind i recognized that the plane was gona go down and when i gave full trotel and down the tail touched the ground, ran for about 5m and then the nose dived. To close to the ground, but lets forget it.

So guys I have on the way, hope it arrives next week,a Cy Model Extra 330l 35%.Im gona install this setup on it:
3W 100cc(i have it)
9x JR Ds8411 on everthing(have 8,1 missing)
Powebox(have it but dont know with one)
2x Fromeco Batteries(I thing)
and 2.4ghz(dont now witch make im gona do yet.

My biggest question is on the servos. Can someone answer me if the Ds8411 are good enough for all the surfaces?I heard that they arent that much good as they have trouble and after almost 100 flights they have to be sent to horizon hobby's as they have slop. And what do you thing of this setup?

Pls answer.

First pics show the yak and last one is showing the Cy Model Extra 300L

I have some 8611a's on their 3rd season and they still work great. Powerful servos with good centering ability. Prior to these I flew 8411s for two seasons and never had to send them in for gear slop. They will be plenty for the 35% assuming you are using 2 per aileron and a couple on the rudder? Recommend using matchboxes to help with the aileron and rudder setup. JR makes very good servos.

I went to the cy website. How do you order from them? They make some really big aircraft. I saw a 300cc yak...geeze!! How much was your extra?

Hi columbo,

thanks for the info,i asked because i heard many things on the 8411's,like slop's or get mad.Yes my powerbox is fixed with a matchbox inside of it.

I am from malta and orderd my Extra from Moki Italia. The extra without shipping came me 550euro.I orderd it in christmas and to get the shipping cheeper i whant to sicily with the ship becaause it was cheeper than shiping it.It had the tail broken and i had to wait for 3 mounths for a new, this week arrived at sicily the new one and had the engine mount broken, suppose the new will arrive to me free next week.Bdw:the engine mount seems to week for a 100cc engine.
The rest of the plane is very robust with aluminum cover for the under carrige inside the plane. But were gona change the engine mount and make take cansister as it cant

Here's the link of Moki Italia:http://moki-italia.com/index.php.His not the direct importer from china,he buys them from a hobby shop in Milano/Italy witch is the importer of Cy Model.
