Default Which Pilot RC Extra

OK I’m ready to pull the trigger on a Pilot RC 35% Extra but am having trouble deciding on the color scheme to get.

I like the black and yellow scheme because it’s a little different front the rest of the red, white and black schemes you see so much of. I’m a little concerned on the visibility of the color though?

So I’m deciding between the Black and Yellow or the Red/black Tai scheme, which one would you go with? The black and yellow one I would probably strip the checkers off a little overdone for my taste.

Just pay the custom sceme fee and this sceme will be available soon if you like it, I did it a while back in CAD for Pilot and my 260.....and the black, silver, and white are very nuetral so swap the orange for any color you like. PM me if interested. When talking to Tony in China it is the Pryme SE extra. I have been flyn the sceme for a while now, it has great lines and is very easy to track in the air.....871

I really like the original black and yellow, but the plane would look much better without the checkers on the fuse and around the cowl IMO. The checkers on the front of the cowl and the top of the rudder are fine... Yea, the black would wrinkle, but it's a cool color!

Modified Yellow Black Hunter. That is what I got. With the yellow base on the fuse the chequered scheme on the side doesn't look overdone. And yet it stands out from the crowd.

I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these planes. I like the Tai scheme, but I like Show871's even more. If he is going to offer it up I might just have to get that one.

Being proficient in CAD, Me and Tony are working together on 2 Pryme SE (special edition) designs to offer to Pilot customers in the future. The extra 260 design is super clean with a semi scale look to it (to compliment the smooth lines of the extra), and the contrasts of the design make it ultra easy to track in the air! Feel free to PM me for more info!
