Default Batteries that charge in seconds

Well not sure if this was posted anywhere else but I found it interesting. Lets see like the other battery studies we have heard of actually make its way to the consumer market. If it does this will change not only the hobby but everything we are so dependent on batteries for.

Cool, now only the house receptacle will be the limiting factor for a fast charge rate.

Well considering they are talking about it hitting the consumer market I am sure they will develop a product that will not require us to re-wire our house in order to provide necessary power.

I guess the only other thing is can I charge them off a basic marine cell pack at the field and which company will develop the charger for it. Considering MIT is saying about 2-3 years tack on another 2-4 years from our industry to get it to the RC masses.

ummmm.... Technology changes so quick we are along for the ride and in the long run it will benefit us.
