THANK YOU HORIZON---I finally got through to Product Support yesterday. I gave them a brief description of what has happened....all they said is do you want the return shipping label sent to or e-mailed to you!!! I will be boxing up my wings ASAP and sending them back for I assume new replacements! It seems too "easy"...lol....so I am going to keep my fingers crossed....

(I see the word "finally" in your statement) ha ha ha
I tried getting ahold of them for some questions on a Sundowner on Monday. I spent 15 minutes on hold & kept hearing the "leave your number and we will call you" message.... so I did & never got a call. I've left an email to them on their website & hope to hear back using that channel. I've had good service from them before, so it's only that I was hoping for a quicker response or some response this time. How long did you stay on the line? |

I left a call back number and was called ~ 60 to 90 minutes later. I usually cannot "wait by the phone" that long but could that day. Yeah....they seem to either have a lot of "product support" calls or only have one poor dude answering everybodys questions....lol.

That was kinda painless for the amount of worrying that you did prior to trying to contact them.

NO WORRYING..... I just like to have as much info as possible about a subject before I talk to someone about it..... but it seems like it will go smoothly. |

gotcha....am glad that it worked out for you.
Everyone hates to have issues with a new toy, I see a lot of guys come on here and start badmouthing this product and that company even before they give the company the opportunity to handle the situation. Then after it is all said and done they are taken care of and there were a lot of bad words that didn't need to be said.

E-mail which they used to say would be answered in 2 business days now says 4 to 5 and that's been my experience with getting e-mail answered lately. Calling has invariably resulted in holds with the offer to leave a call back number and that's what I started doing. I can only think of one time where I left a number and didn't get a call back, it usually happens within the time frame noted above; 60 to 90 minutes but I have had 'em call back in 15 minutes too. I'd try leaving a call back number again. |

Thanks Zeeb - I'll have to give a call again. I haven't got an email back yet, but still hoping they shoot me an email. All the questions could be easily answered on an email.

It may have been the first generation Extra. They always had that problem. The generation two is alot more sturdy.
