Default JR 9303 Set up

Helo, I am new to this fourm and have a question on setting up a JR 9303 for 3-d flying. I recently finished a Great planes 38% Extra 330s. I did the maiden on her yesterday and she flew great.Currently I am using the Flight mode function to allow me to have my high, low, and 3-d rates. Just wanted to know if there are other optinos for programing the radio to be able to have all 3 rates on one switch.Thank YouJoe

Welcome to FG. I think most people use the flight modes. Something like 3D rates, low or IMAC rates and then a snap/hammer head rate.

Joe, you can assign all rates to a single switch. The programming is almost identical to my 12X. I'm pretty sure you need to go into the system menu (hold the scroll button down, and turn the tx on), then go into device select, and in there, there should be a flight mode option. It should allow you to select a switch to put the flight mode on (aileron dual rate switch for example), and from there, you can go into your dual rates in the main menu, and set up each rate to that switch. Not sure if this makes sense or not, but I can go through it when I have a chance to have my transmitter in front of me, and tell you in a more clear way.

I did try that but my DR switches are only 2 position. Also I can not find any thing in the programming to assign all DR's to one switch except the flight mode switch.

Right. If you use the 3 DR switches you can control each rate individually but you only get 2 rates then. For triple rates you have to use the Flight mode switch and that changes all 3 at once.

What Bob said is correct. In order to have them on one switch you have to use either the Flap switch or the Aux 2 switch which are 3 postion switches.
