Default 2 cell LiFe's on Ignition kill?

Guys, currently I'm using 4 cells Ni-MH for my ignition but they are getting old and I have a brand new 2 cell LiFe available. I'm running a power expander 10 and a turbo regulator with 2 li-po's for RX and servos.

Because the ingition module "likes" 4.8v can I simply plug those Life's directly to the igniton kill module or I need to run some sort of BEC or regulator?

Thanks Smart-Fly

What brand is the ignition module? Some brands are okay with higher volts & some are definately not.

Hi,
You did not give me a chance to reply. Whether you can use 2-cell LiFe cells depends on your engine ignition module as specified elsewhere above. The Ignition Cutoff can handle the voltage but you engine ignition may not be able to. If you engine's ignition cannot handle the full 7.2V then you should look at our IgnitionReg.

Your a little quick with those kind of remarks when you haven't even given us the brand of the ignition yet. The voltage will depend on that info.

If it's a DA ign and you are talking about LifeP04 batteries (which are 6.6v) then you are good to go.
