guys trying to figure out if DL 111 would be enough to pull an edge 540 110'' wingspan 36lbs flying weight?.im into extreme 3D and pattern.

I would say probably not. A 110" wing span plane at 36 lbs. does not sound like a very favorable wing loading for extreme 3D.

hi i think with more power more better, i was flying a edge of 95" with a da 100 and this was very well in 3d manouvers and this were extra powered.

It used to be the largest cattle operation in North America, Joey Woodward of Alberta used to own it til he died . The Estate sold it to the Canadian that took World Com to the cleaners, don't remember his name. He ended up in prison down here for his bad corporate deeds.

Weight: 36-38 lb (16.3-17.2 kg) Wing Area: 2279 in2 (147 dm2) Wing Loading: 36-38 oz/ft2 (110-116 g/dm2) Length: 103 in (2615 mm) Those are the specs for the Great Planes Extra 330s. It won't 3D with a 111cc. But it will 3D quite well. We've all seen the Vids. Steve |
