Default New Great Planes 1/3 Scale Cap

I was looking around GP's site and found this.

Wow. That looks fabulous! I have always loved the Cap design and this one should be nice. The writeup on the page says they knocked 4-5# off the old design, so the new one should be a real performer. I like Matt's new Riddle scheme too.

The GP planes have long been very high in quality, although they were overbuilt and often heavy. I am glad to see them make strides like this.

If that thing can weigh ~24# on an 85cc it will be great. I like the overall size too and the 96" fuse makes it bigger than all but a few 100cc planes on the market. (the apparent "size" of a plane depends more on the fuse than on the wingspan IMO).

Best of all it should be available at my LHS.

WELL DONE Great Planes!

I had the small 51''. It was GREAT. Not the Best 3Der but I am sure the big one would be better.. It was not too cappy.. It has a different wing a little bit higher. and the tail is more inline with the thrust line...
NICE!!
