Okay I emailed Al for a Panzl 40% PAK - anyone else game? Maybe we can get a small run going for next winter's builds? Gordon - you know you'll be needing a 40% at some point

I think I would do a "Canadiananized" version of that Guards scheme.

Does Canada have a National Guard? Are those the guys with the red jackets and the modified sombreros riding around on horses???

I don't know if "need" is the right word but I would sure want one!! I am seriously considering another 2.7 Panzel to work on this coming winter (are the PAK versions still available?) so that I wil have a back up for the competition plane. If a 40% version becomes available I might be persuaded to make the jump up (hope my trailer is big enough!)

'Unbalanced' - First: that is a great scheme on your Panzel and Second: the guys in the red tunics are the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) They are quite trigger happy with the TASER so watch what you say about them!:laser:

As of right now we do not have any PAK kits available. I have 3 Panzl ARF"S in stock and one of them will be saved for us as a backup.

Does this mean that PAK kits for the 2.7 will be available in the future? Are the ARF's set up with cannister tunnelsl?

All our ARF's are canister ready. As of right now I have not decided if we are going to do any more PAK kits. I know there are a few guys out there that like to build and do there own schemes but basically its a ARF world anymore.

I run my own small business as well so I understand that prudent business decisions have to be made from time to time (especially with a less than wildly popular style of airplane) but I would be happy to have my name on an e-mail list in case you decide to punch out a few more PAK kits (in either 35% or 40%). This whole thread and discussion about the Panzl (and resulting advertising for Jtec/radiowave) was started because of the beautiful work done in building a PAK kit wth the Air National Guard scheme. ARF's are great but some of us still like to build!

I thought about sending him an email and asking if I can get a photo of the two planes together. It looks like he'll be putting on a show near by in September.

I don't fly IMAC. I thought about starting last year but I don't fly enough to think about competing.
